I wish, the layers werent locked... And the dropper too, but everything else is nice.

This app is almost perfect. But I need to. Be able to animate over sound

If I am wrong, please correct me. As far as I can see< I can only lease this app, monthly or yearly. I just want to buy this bad boy. Give me that option please. You can charge 100, thats fine, but thats silly for an iOS app to have this only option.

- How do I add audio? - How do I import images? - What import icon? - Why is it assumed I was born with the Knowledge needed to use this app? - Why should I buy the premium version?

This app is awesome but theres a problem when I zoom its good but I cant turn left or right when Im zooming plz fix it !!! Plz

This app will randomly trash frames on you. On a number of occasions, I would return to work on my animation only to discover one of my frames got replaced with a drawing from a completely random frame. The drawing I had done was gone for good. Im sick of having to redo my work. In addition, there is a similar bug in which the frames get reordered randomly as well. Until these bugs are fixed, I cant recommend this app - it is unreliable. The whole cloud idea is nice to be able to work on the mobile and desktop versions of the app, however this also has issues. Background layers from the mobile version do not come through on the desktop. I will say it does have great potential and its obvious they put a lot of work into making the app. The UI could use some help though. I find myself toggling back and forth with the tool bars at the bottom a lot. For example, to cut and paste between frames, I have to flip to one tool bar, select the scissors tool, flip back to the frame navigation toolbar, do my cut or copy, go to the next frame, paste, then flip back again to the other toolbar to select my pencil. Its tedious. Id recommend using fly out menus from one toolbar and/or the floating tool column. One fly out menu could have all the scissors/brushes/pencils etc., another could have the color swatches, another for frame management etc. Above all though PLEASE fix the frame trashing bug so I can use this app.

Whenever I continue to add more frames, it keeps glitching out and the picture gets deleted and duplicated onto an already used frame. Now I cant use the app.

This app is pretty good. Its wonderful for animation and is definitely one of the best animation apps out there. However there is this terrible bug where sometimes the app mixes up your frames or even delete them! More then once I have worked on something and the apps have mixed up the frames. If it wasnt for the bug I would have rated this a four out of five.

Its really great to work on my animations with Apple pencil!

As mentioned by others, this software has great potential, unfortunately it deletes randomly frames.... Unless you work in one session and export right away your art work, all your efforts will be zeroed. Now I have to find a way to cancel my subscription with them.

Ive tried every animation software on the market for both iOS and desktop computers. Everything from the venerable TVPaint to open source alternatives like Pencil2d. I have to say that Animation Desk Cloud, with its new "cleaner" user interface that does away with trying desperately to look like a traditional animation desk, does the best job of simply getting out of your way and letting you focus on the animation. Of course it doesnt have all the extra bells and whistles of a studio grade tool like Toon Boom, but it has all of the tools you need to visualize a sequence, which you can then export to another drawing application if you prefer. My only complaint is that the brushes/pencils arent as nice as in dedicated drawing apps such as Sketches Pro, and it lacks some handy features like gesture-based undo. Overall its a solid platform to rough out your ideas and then export them to another drawing app once you have the timing and spacing nailed down. Id recommend this software for anyone whos interested in traditional 2d animation. Just be sure to get this version and not the one that looks like its trying to emulate an actual desk.

Over all, this app seems to offer a lot. But once I started working with it with the Apple Pencil, the experience became tedious. The steps needed to switch colours, tools, and advance through frames were too numerous. Also, copying and pasting objects was frustrating. Maybe the poor Palm rejection made the selection process seem worse, but I kept getting incomplete selections because my palm touched the screen while using the Apple Pencil. Or the imported pic I was trying to select from occupied so much of the screen that drawing the selection line too close to the edge of the screen, interrupted the selecting, and I had to start over. However, once I was finally able to paste objects into the animation, it was incredibly difficult to resize them (make them smaller as if going back into the distance). Their shape kept getting distorted. Ive been working with this app for a few days now and have yet to finalise any project that I actually like.

Add Audio: like from camera roll or literally can record sound. Background: Give us a option to put a background like in Animation Desk. Time: What kinda annoys me is only the part where it tells me that it has to be more than a second, but it IS a second. Fix that plz!

I bought this app for the ability to animate on top of existing videos, but I do not have access to hardly any of my videos on my iPad.

This app is the best of all the animation apps. It provides cute and basic tutorials for people who are starting to learn animations as me. I will consider to buy the full version also.

A lot of animators in the industry usually either record themselves acting or sketch out a 2D animation test to get a feel for the timing and etc. This app seems so simple to use with its clean and easy interface. I think many people complain about the 59.99 subscription service but for me, I just need access for the anim desk pro version which is only 15.99 a year or 3.99 a month. Although I would rather purchase an app for a one time fee, I think this app is a huge benefit for all type of animators out there. Keep up the great work!

The user interface is laggy but the features are cool

It would be nice to duplicate frames in groups and to move them in groups around. Also it lags a bit too much but its an overall very solid animation app B)

I guess its human error, but I dont have the ability to pay for the yearly subscription (just for the animation app) I hope its only clerical error, because this is a great app for animating, and Im hoping to purchase the extra brushes and tools. This app can be extremely limited to those who want to make detailed animations (if you dont pay for the subscription)
